sales of real estate of intestates or testates, where the
appraisal value of said real estate shall not exceed the sum
of Twenty-five Hundred Dollars, and to confirm and ratify
said sales in the same manner as such sales are confirmed
and ratified by the several circuit courts of the State, as
courts of equity.

(b) Any sale of the real estate of a testate by an
Orphans' Court prior to June 1, 1943, which was regular
in every respect except that the said court did not have
jurisdiction for such sales under the provisions of this
section as they then existed, is hereby validated, confirmed
and legalized as if made with no question of its validity
and effect; and any imperfection on the title of such real
estate by reason of such sale is hereby erased and removed
and the title thereof is hereby made perfect. Provided,
however, that nothing in this section shall be construed to
affect the interest of bona fide purchasers or creditors
without notice who may have become so prior to June 1,
1943.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 83
(Senate Bill 218)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tions 47A, 48, 51 and 52 of Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Dorchester County", sub-title "Cambridge", as the
same were amended by Chapter 923 of the Acts of 1943,
relating to the Supervisor of Elections, registration of
voters, use of voting machines and primary and general
elections in Cambridge.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 47A, 48, 51 and 52 of Article 10 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
