(i) "Trailer Coach Space" means a plot of ground within
a trailer coach park designed for the accommodation of
one trailer coach.
216 (License. ) It shall be unlawful for any person to
maintain or operate within St. Mary's County, any trailer
coach park unless such person shall first obtain a license
therefor. All trailer coach parks in existence upon the
effective date of this Act shall within 90 days thereafter
obtain such license and in all other respects comply fully
with the requirements of this Act.
217. (License Fees. ) The annual license fee for each
trailer coach park shall be $25. 00 for each block of ten
trailer coach spaces or fraction thereof, provided that the
maximum license fee for one trailer coach park shall not be
more than $500. 00.
In addition to the annual license fee, there shall be a tax
of fifty cents per week or fraction thereof, payable by the
owner of the trailer. The owner of each trailer coach park
shall be responsible for the collection of said tax and shall
turn over said tax to the County Commissioners. This tax
shall be credited to the General Fund, St. Mary's County,
Maryland, and the return shall be filed and the tax paid
quarterly. The fee for the transfer of a license as provided
in this Act shall be $5. 00.
217A. (Receipt of License Fees. ) Every person, firm
or corporation operating any trailer coach park shall issue
a receipt for the aforesaid weekly tax to each trailer coach
occupant, on forms to be furnished to said trailer coach
park operator by the Board of County Commissioners of
St. Mary's County, and shall also return with the quarterly
return of the aforesaid tax a duplicate copy of each receipt
so issued to such trailer park occupants.
217B. (Application for License. ) Applications for a
trailer coach park license shall be filed with and issued by
the Board of County Commissioners sitting as the Board
of Health, SHOWING
(a) The name and address of the applicant.
(b) The location and legal description of the trailer coach
park.
(c) A plot plan drawn to scale showing the complete
layout of said park, including the location of every trailer
lot, accessory building, or other building or structure, as
