THEODORE R. MCKELDIN, GOVERNOR 1703

Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, (1930 Edition),
said new section to be known as Section 51A, to follow
immediately after Section 51, and to read as follows:

51A. The boundaries of the City of Crisfield are hereby
extended to include the following area in Lawson's District,
Somerset County, Maryland, which is all that lot or parcel
of land containing 16. 14 acres, in said District, County and
State and which is identified as the property of the Edward
W. McCready Memorial Hospital, Crisfield, Maryland,
which said property is fully described by metes and bounds
on a plat made by W. Ballard Miles, Surveyor for Somer-
set County, Maryland, dated January 25, 1951, and which
said plat is attached to and made a part of a deed from
Caroline McCready to the Trustees of the Edward W. Mc-
Cready Memorial Hospital, dated January 31, 1951 and
duly recorded among the land records of Somerset County,
Maryland in Liber B. L. B. No. 154 at folio 18.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 739
(House Bill 822)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
section (a) of Section 44 of Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Alcoholic Bever-
ages", sub-title "General Provision on Issue of Licenses",
and to add a new sub-section to said section, said new
sub-section to be known as Sub-section (c), to follow
immediately after Sub-section (b) of said section, pro-
viding that no new license shall be granted, AFTER
JANUARY 1, 1954, to sell alcoholic beverages under a
Class LP, Off Sale, Package Goods license, in any build-
ing within a certain distance of a church or school in
Anne Arundel County; and providing that no alcoholic
beverage license shall be issued in Anne Arundel County
if an application for the same license has been refused
within the immediately previous year.
