SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
19 (n) (2), 19 (n) (3) and 19 (n) (4) of Article 95A
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title
"Unemployment Compensation", sub-title "Definitions",
and to add Sections 19 (n) (5), 19 (n) (6), 19 (n) (7)
and 19 (n) (8) to said Article, sub-title "Definitions",
to follow after Section 19 (n) (4) thereof, amending the
laws as to the definition of the term "wages" for the
purposes of unemployment compensation.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 19 (n) (2), 19 (n) (3) and
19 (n) (4) of Article 95A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Unemployment Compen-
sation", sub-title "Definitions", be and they are hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and that Sec-
tions 19 (n) (5), 19 (n) (6), 19 (n) (7), and 19 (n) (8)
be and they are hereby added to said Article, to follow
immediately after Section 19 (n) (4) thereof, sub-title
"Definitions", and all to read as follows:
