tions, cause advertisement to be made setting the place
where bids conditioned as may be required by said resolu-
tion or resolutions will be opened for the sale of said bonds,
reserving unto themselves the right to reject any and all
bids. Said bids shall be filed with the Town Clerk of the
Town of Bel Air, and at the time or times and place or
places advertised shall be opened by him in the presence of
The Commissioners of Bel Air, and if said bids be satis-
factory to The Commissioners of Bel Air, they shall sell
said bonds, or any part thereof, to the highest bidder or
bidders, of whose ability to comply with the terms of sale
The Commissioners of Bel Air, in their discretion, are
satisfied.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That upon the sale or
sales of said bonds, or any part thereof, the proceeds
thereof shall be placed in a separate fund and used by
The Commissioners of Bel Air for the purpose of extending
and improving the presently existing sewerage system,
whether inside or outside the corporate limits of the Town
of Bel Air, including the planning, engineering and design
of said extension and improvement, the construction of an
additional sewage main from the Town of Bel Air to the
sewage disposal plant of said town, the acquisition of the
lands, improvements and rights-of-way necessary both
inside and outside the corporate limits of said town, and
all expenses incidental thereto.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose
of paying the interest on and maturing principal of the
bonds issued under this Act as said interest and principal
matures and becomes due in any year The Commissioners of
Bel Air may in any such year allocate as great a part of
the Eighty-five Cents ($. 85) on each One Hundred Dollars
($100. 00) of property subject to assessment for taxation
located within the corporate limits of said town for general
purposes provided for by Section 115 of the Charter of said
town as codified by Higinbothom's Code of Laws of Har-
ford County as they may determine proper, and in addition
thereto The Commissioners of Bel Air shall in any such
year assess an additional tax on all property subject to
assessment for taxation within said Town sufficient in rate
and amount, when added to the allocation from the Eight-
five Cents ($. 85) per One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) of
assessable property assessed for general purposes by said
Commissioners above referred to, to provide for the pay-
ment of the interest on and principal of the bonds issued
under the provisions of this Act as such mature and be-
come due in any such year.
