such time as the members may desire, providing that vaca-
tion periods or leave of absence is granted in accordance
with the seniority of the members as the members may
prefer. In addition to the above vacation leave, each mem-
ber of the Police Force shall be granted leave of absence
with pay [one day] two consecutive days NOT LESS
THAN ONE DAY each week to be designated by the Chief
of Police and shall be allowed leave of absence with pay on
account of sickness not to exceed fifteen (15) WORKING
days in any one year. Any member of the Police Force
may accumulate unused sick leave from year to year, up to
sixty days and may use the same for sick leave at any time.
[Any officer or member of the Police Department injured
or disabled in the performance of his duty shall receive full
compensation for such time as he may be prevented from
performing such duties on account of the injuries or dis-
abilities thus received, and in addition thereto, shall be
entitled to all medical, hospital and surgical expenses
resulting from said injury or injuries. ]

56.

(b) In addition to the vacation leave granted in Sub-
section (a) of this section, each member of the Fire De-
