(b) A supervising teacher or supervisor of pupil per-
sonnel I having completed at least one year of graduate
work and meeting the requirements for the appropriate
certificate shall receive $200 per year more than the scale
as set forth in sub-section (a) of this section.
(c) With the approval of the State Superintendent of
Schools, County Boards of Education may employ super-
vising teachers and supervisors of pupil personnel II with-
out degrees at an annual salary of $600 less than the scale
as set forth in sub-section (a) of this section.
(d) With the approval of the State Superintendent of
Schools, County Boards of Education may employ super-
visors of pupil personnel II with degrees at an annual
salary of $400 less than the scale as set forth in sub-
section (a) of this section.
(e) Each supervising teacher or supervisor of pupil
personnel I who enters the public school system of any
political sub-division in Maryland shall receive a minimum
salary equal to that which is required to be paid to a
supervising teacher or supervisor of pupil personnel I
having equivalent experience and grade of certificate who
is already in the public school system of that political sub-
division.
(f) Every visiting teacher shall receive a minimum
salary equal to that of a teacher with equivalent training
and years of experience.
(g) The County Board of Education of any County and
the Board of School Commissioners of Baltimore City
may, in its discretion, pay to supervising teachers and
supervisors of pupil personnel annual salaries in excess
of the minimum salaries provided for in this section.
