Governor for the unexpired term, and until a successor
shall qualify. Any member of a county board shall be
eligible for reappointment, unless otherwise disqualified
by the provisions of this section.

12A. THE BOARD OF EDUCATION FOR PRINCE
GEORGE'S COUNTY SHALL BE COMPOSED OF
SEVEN PERSONS, AT LEAST TWO OF WHOM
SHALL BE MEMBERS OF THAT POLITICAL PARTY
WHICH POLLED THE SECOND HIGHEST NUMBER
OF VOTES IN THE MOST RECENT GUBERNA-
TORIAL ELECTION IN THE STATE. THE GOVER-
NOR SHALL APPOINT TO SAID BOARD SEVEN
PERSONS WHO ARE CITIZENS OF PRINCE
GEORGE'S COUNTY. OF THE PERSONS FIRST AP-
POINTED, FIVE SHALL HAVE TERMS OF ONE,
TWO, THREE, FOUR AND FIVE YEARS, RESPEC-
TIVELY, AND THE OTHER TWO SHALL HAVE
TERMS OF SIX YEARS, ALL DATING FROM THE
FIRST MONDAY IN MAY, 1953. THOSE PERSONS
WHO ARE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF EDUCA-
TION FOR PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY IMMEDI-
