as though conferred herein directly upon such corporation
or person.

180. Subject to the provisions of Section 177 above,

Ocean Beach Bridge Corporation and its property shall be

exempt from taxation by the State of Maryland and Wor-
cester County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953., IF, AS OF THAT DATE, THE
OCEAN BEACH BRIDGE CORPORATION SHALL
HAVE GIVEN BOND TO THE STATE OF MARY-
LAND IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED THOU-
SAND DOLLARS ($200, 000) OR IN LIEU THEREOF,
DEPOSIT SAID SUM WITH THE STATE ROADS
COMMISSION OF MARYLAND, FOR THE SATISFAC-
TORY COMPLETION OF SAID BRIDGE; IF SUCH
BOND IS GIVEN TO THE STATE OF MARYLAND
AND, IN THE JUDGMENT OF THE STATE ROADS
COMMISSION OF MARYLAND, SUCH BRIDGE IS NOT
SATISFACTORILY COMPLETED, THE AMOUNT OF
THE BOND WILL BE FORFEITED TO THE STATE
OF MARYLAND, THE PROCEEDS THEREOF TO BE
ADDED TO THE SPECIAL FUNDS OF THE STATE
ROADS COMMISSION DEVOTED TO ROAD AND
HIGHWAY PURPOSES.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 77 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Public
Education, " said new section to be known as Section 12A,
to follow immediately after Section 12 thereof and to be
under the sub-title "Chapter 2. Formation of Boards, "
providing for the political qualifications of members of
the County Board of Education of Carroll County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 77
