Assembly of Maryland. Said Code shall be as compiled and
edited by W. J. Offutt of the Frederick County Bar. It
shall be deemed and taken in all the Courts of the State
and by all Justices of the Peace and Trial Magistrates of
the State and by all other public officials of the State to be
evidence of the ordinances of the City of Frederick in effect
at the time of compilation and publication and also to be
evidence of those Public Local Laws from Article 11 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, which comprise
the Charter of the City of Frederick and which are in
effect at the completion of the 1953 Session of the General
Assembly of Maryland.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the City of
Frederick be and is hereby authorized and empowered to
make an appropriation to provide for the editing and publi-
cation of said Code and further may provide for the sale
and distribution of said Code.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

(House Bill 793)

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Board of County
Commissioners for Prince George's County to borrow
upon the faith and credit of said county to an amount
not to exceed Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800, -
000. 00) and to issue and sell bonds therefor, the pro-
ceeds thereof to be used for the construction of and pur-
chase of land for a County Jail, and to provide for the
payment of interest on said bonds, and of the principal
thereof, by the levy of taxes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners for Prince
George's County be and they are hereby authorized and
