(House Bill 646)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
1283 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's
County (1943 Edition), being Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Prince George's County", sub-title "Sheriff", providing
that the Sheriff or other officer shall advertise in news-
papers the sales of lands and tenements as required by
the Code of Public General Laws.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 1283 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Prince George's County (1943 Edition), being
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Prince George's County", sub-title
"Sheriff", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, and to read as follows:

1283. It shall [not] be necessary for Sheriffs or other
officers in said county, to advertise in newspapers, sales
of lands and tenements as required by the Code of Public
General Laws.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.
