To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
210 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951
Edition) DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at a Special Referendum
Election held in the Town of Forest Heights, Prince George's
County, Maryland, on Wednesday, May 13, 1953, an Act
known as Chapter 400 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1953 was submitted to the voters of the Town
of Forest Heights, Prince George's County, Maryland, for
their adoption or rejection under the provisions of Chapter
400 of the Acts of 1953, said Act being as follows:
"An Act to amend Sec. 8 of Chapter 142 of the Acts
of 1949, relating to the removal of weeds, refuse,
stagnant water or combustible material from unim-
proved lots or vacant premises in the Town of Forest
Heights,"
AND I DO CERTIFY, That at such election 207 votes were
cast in favor of the adoption of Chapter 400 of the Acts of
1953 and 14 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Chapter 400, and a majority of the votes being cast in favor
of the adoption of the said Act, the same has, therefore, been
ratified by the voters of the Town of Forest Heights, Prince
George's County.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-
