To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
210 of Article 33 of the Code of Maryland (1951 Edition)
DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at a Special Election held on Mon-
day, June 22, 1953, in the Town of Upper Marlboro, Prince
George's County, Maryland, an Act known as Chapter 93 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of 1953 was submitted to
the voters of the Town of Upper Marlboro, for their adop-
tion or rejection, under the provisions of Chapter 93 of the
Acts of 1953, said Act being:
"An Act to amend Sec. 1387 of the Code of Prince
George's County, 1943, edition, relating to the method
of election, duties, powers and compensation of the
Commissioners of Upper Marlboro".
AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 48 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of Chapter 93 of the Acts of 1953
and 11 votes were cast against the adoption of the said Act;
and a majority of the votes being cast in favor of the adop-
tion of Chapter 93, the same has, therefore, been ratified by
the voters of the Town of Upper Marlboro, Prince George's
County, Maryland.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-
