(House Bill 40)
AN ACT to repeal Section 193 of Article 41 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Governor—
Executive and Administrative Departments", sub-title
"The Department of State Employment and Registra-
tion", as said section was amended by Chapter 310 of the
Acts of 1953, and to enact a new Section 193 in lieu there-
of, to stand in the place and stead of the section so re-
pealed, and to be under the new sub-title "Licensing
Boards", establishing a Central Licensing Office for the
use of certain designated occupational licensing boards
and agencies and relating generally to the conduct and
procedure for such office and to the duties of the said
licensing boards and agencies.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 193 of Article 41 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Governor—Ex-
ecutive and Administrative Departments", sub-title "The
Department of State Employment and Registration", as
said section was amended by Chapter 310 of the Acts of
1953, be and it is hereby repealed; and that a new Section
193 be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in
the place and stead of the section so repealed, and to be
under the new sub-title "Licensing Boards", and to read as
follows:
LICENSING BOARDS
193. (a) The Central Licensing Office is established for
the use of the State Board of Barber Examiners, the State
Board of Examining Engineers, the State Board of Elec-
trical Examiners and Supervisors, the State Board of Ex-
amining Moving Picture Machine Operators and the State
