the State Roads Commission, the charge for which shall
be $10. 00.

The permit shall specify the route to be followed, the
mileage covered and the date and hours between which
the passage is to be made and maximum weight.

249. (c) Incorporated cities, towns and municipalities
may by ordinances permit the operation within their re-
spective jurisdiction of any motor bus or trackless trolley
with a maximum outside width of not to exceed 102 inches.

252. No vehicle including any load thereon shall ex-
ceed a height of 12 feet 6 inches.,
EXCEPT THAT MOTOR
TRANSPORT CARRIERS OF AUTOMOBILES IN-
CLUDING ANY LOAD THEREON MAY BE 13 FEET
6 INCHES IN HEIGHT.

253. (a) No motor vehicle or trackless trolley includ-

ing any loan thereon, shall exceed a length of 35 feet ex-
treme over all dimension inclusive of front and rear
(bumpers, except that a bus equipped with three axles shall
not exceed an over all length, inclusive of front and rear
bumpers, of 40 feet.

(b) No combination of vehicles coupled together shall
consist of more than two units and no tractor semi-trailer

including any load thereon shall have an over all length
inclusive of front and rear bumpers, in excess of 50 feet,

and no combination of other vehicles including any load

thereon shall have an over all length, inclusive of front

and rear bumpers, in excess of 60 feet.

253. NO VEHICLE OR COMBINATION OF VE-
HICLES INCLUDING THE LOAD THEREON SHALL
EXCEED 55 FEET IN LENGTH INCLUSIVE OF
FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS; EXCEPT THAT ANY
UTILITY POLES BEING TRANSPORTED BY OR FOR
ANY PUBLIC UTILITY COMPANY SHALL NOT BE
SUBJECT TO THE LIMITATIONS PROVIDED IN THIS
SECTION AS TO OVER-ALL LENGTH, AND FUR-
THER PROVIDED THAT PILING SHALL NOT BE
SUBJECT TO THE LIMITATIONS PROVIDED IN THIS
SECTION AS TO OVERALL LENGTH.

254. (a). No axle load shall exceed 18, 000 pounds..

(b). No group of axles contained within the distance
shown in Column 1 of the following table shall carry total
loads in excess of those shown opposite the respective dis-
tances in Column 2 of the table.
