jurisdiction, power and authority at any time before expiration
of sentence, to reduce, change, or modify said sentence upon
such conditions and terms as the Court may impose, and
the balance of the sentence may be suspended and such person
placed upon probation upon such terms and conditions as the
Court may impose.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

CHAPTER 41
(Senate Bill 44)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 24 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (Flack's 1930 Edition),
title "Worcester County", sub-title "Snow Hill", to fol-
low immediately after Section 309B (as enacted by Chap-
ter 34 of the Acts of 1941 of the General Assembly of
Maryland) and to be known as Section 309C, to au-
thorize Mayor and Council of Snow Hill to borrow money
on its promissory note or notes, subject to certain limi-
tations.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be added to Article 24 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (Flack's 1980 Edition),
title "Worcester County", sub-title "Snow Hill", to follow
immediately after Section 309B (as enacted by Chapter 34
of the Acts of 1941 of the General Assembly of Maryland),
to be known as Section 309C, and to read as follows:
309C. In addition to, and not in limitation of, the pow-
ers already possessed, the Mayor and Council of Snow
Hill shall have power, from time to, time whenever it shall
deem the same necessary, by resolution to borrow on the
faith and credit of the town of Snow Hill an amount or
amounts of money not exceeding in the aggregate in any
one year the amount of municipal taxes levied on the as-
sessable property of said town by said Mayor and Council
