CHAPTER 297
(Senate Bill 165)

AN ACT to repeal Sees. 72A and 72B of Article 5 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, (1930 Edition),
title "Calvert County, " sub-title "Circuit Court" as the
same was enacted by Chapter 47 of the Acts of 1931,
and to enact a new Section 72A in lieu thereof; and to
repeal Sees. 36, 37, and 38 of Article 9 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, (1930 Edition), title
"Charles County, " sub-title "Circuit Court, " sub-head-
ing "Stenographer, " as the same was enacted by Chapter
180 of the Acts of 1931, and to enact a new Section 36
in lieu thereof; and to repeal Sees. 236 and 237 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County,
1943 Edition, being Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County, "
sub-title "Circuit Court, " sub-heading "Court Stenog-
rapher" as the same was enacted by Chapter 188 of the
Acts of 1949, and to enact a new Section 236 in lieu
thereof; and to repeal Sees. 45A and 45B of Article 19
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, '(1930
Edition), title "St. Mary's County, " sub-title "Circuit
Court, " to be under sub-heading "Court Stenographer, "
as the same was enacted by Chapter 139 of the Acts of
1931, and to enact a new Section 45A in lieu thereof.
Each of said new sections providing for the appoint-
ment, compensation, expenses, and duties of one or more
court reporters for the Circuit Courts for said counties.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sees. 72A and 72B of Article 5 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, (1930 Edition), title "Calvert
County, " sub-title "Circuit Court" as the same was en-
acted by Chapter 47 of the Acts of 1931; Sees. 36, 37, and
38 of Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, (1930 Edition), title "Charles County, " sub-title
"Circuit Court, " sub-heading "Stenographer, " as -the same
was enacted by Chapter 180 of the Acts of 1931; Sees. 236
and 237 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County, 1943 Edition, being Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince
