AMENDMENT No. 1 to SENATE BILL No. 157 AND/OR HOUSE
BILL No. 226
On page 35 of the Printed Bill, under the heading "Department of Mary-
land State Police" and under the sub-heading "Summary", in the line "Total
Appropriations from General Funds", strike out the word "General" and
insert in lieu thereof the word "Special". This amendment is to be effective
contingent on the passage of legislation providing for this change.

On page 46 of the Printed Bill, under the heading "State Police Retirement
System" and under the sub-heading "Summary", in the line "Total Appro-
priations from General Funds", strike out the word "General" and insert in
lieu thereof the word "Special". This amendment is to be effective con-
tingent on the passage of legislation providing for this change.

On page 145 of the Printed Bill, under the heading "Payment of Revenue
to Civil Divisions of the State" and under the sub-heading "To Baltimore
City", in line 6, following the words "Appropriations to the Traffic Courts, "
insert "Department of Maryland State Police and State Police Retirement
System". This amendment is to be effective contingent on the passage of
legislation providing for this change.
AMENDMENT No. 4 TO SENATE BILL No. 157 AND/OR HOUSE
BILL No. 226
On page 18 of the Printed Bill, under the heading "Commission on Pre-
vailing Wages for the State of Maryland" and under the sub-heading "Sum-
mary", after the line "Total Appropriations from General Funds", insert the
following: "The above appropriation of $9, 267 is contingent upon the passage
of legislation at the 1951 Session of the General Assembly providing for a
Commission on Prevailing Wages".
