ty, " sub-title "Thurmont, " as said section was enacted
AMENDED by Chapter 693 of the Acts of 1947, be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

771. The corporate bounds of said town for all pur-
poses [except taxation by the laws of the corporation, ]
shall be as follows: Beginning at a concrete monument at
the junction of the east side of State Road No. 550 leading
from Thurmont to Creagerstown and on the south side of
State Road No. 77 leading to Rocky Ridge. Thence, by true
bearing, across the lands of Albaugh and Powell, south
seventy-three degrees, thirty minutes west, a distance of
3997. 5 ft. to a monument placed along the west edge of the
H. and F. Railroad right-of-way about two hundred feet
from the south side of old Hagerstown road; thence, across
the lands of Lakin Moser, north seventy-three degrees,
twenty-eight minutes west, a distance of 2626. 8 ft. to the
east edge of the road leading from Thurmont to Frederick
(U. S. Route No. 15), said monument being located near a
small stream; thence, across the lands of J. Hooker Lewis,
north nineteen degrees, thirty minutes west, a distance of
4187. 0 ft. to a concrete marker located near an old cherry
tree; thence, along the lands of the Recreational Demon-
stration Projects, Catoctin Area, Frederick County, Mary-
land, tract No. 80A, Option No. 2, as shown on drawing No.
3L D-MD4, dated June 11, 1936, drawing No. AC-42, the
following eleven courses and distances: North fifty-nine
degrees, twenty-eight minutes west, a distance of 290. 4 ft.;
thence, north seventy-two degrees, thirteen minutes west,
a distance of 115. 5 ft.; thence, north eighteen degrees,
seventeen minutes east, a distance of 198. 0 ft.; thence,
north seventy-four degrees, twenty-eight minutes west, a
distance of 356. 4 ft.; thence, north three degrees, forty-
seven minutes east, a distance of 825. 0 ft.; thence, south
seventy-eight degrees, thirteen minutes east, a distance of
655. 4 ft.; thence, north three degrees, forty-seven minutes
east, a distance of 363. 0 ft.; thence, south seventy-eight
degrees, thirteen minutes east, a distance of 412. 5 ft.;
thence, north thirty-five degrees, forty-seven minutes east,
a distance of 1008. 1 ft.; thence, south seventy-six degrees,
forty-three minutes east, a distance of 115. 5 ft.; thence,
north twenty-three degrees, thirty-two minutes east, a dis-
tance of 544. 5 ft. to a corner of the Recreational Demon-
stration Projects land heretofore mentioned, said corner
being marked by a concrete monument; thence, north
thirty-four degrees, thirty-seven minutes east, a distance
of 2181. 4 ft.; said line crossing the tracks of Western
