1S3E. All of the inhabitants of the territory annexed
to the Town of Easton by this Act shall in all respects and
to all intents and purposes be subject to the powers, juris-
diction and authority vested or to be vested by law, in the
Mayor and Council of Easton, and to all the ordinances now
in force, so far as the same may be consistent with the
provisions of this Act, and the territory so annexed shall
in all respects be taken and considered as part of said
Town of Easton.

133F. All persons resident and all property situated

within the territory which, by this Act, is annexed to the
Town of Easton, except parcels of land used exclusively

for agricultural purposes shall be subject to taxation for

local Town purposes beginning with the Town levy to be

made for the year 1952. The territory annexed to the

Town of Easton by this Act is hereby declared to be a
taxing district and the Mayor and Council of Easton shall

have full power to assess, levy and collect within said tax

ing district any and all taxes whatsoever which it has or
shall be authorized to assess, levy or collect within the

taxable limits of the Town of Easton as it heretofore

existed. The Mayor and Council of Easton shall extend

to the property annexed by this Act municipal facilities

and utilities as promptly as possible and feasible from the

effective date of said Act.

133F. ALL PERSONS RESIDENT AND ALL PROP-
ERTY SITUATED WITHIN THE TERRITORY WHICH,
BY THIS ACT, IS ANNEXED TO THE TOWN OF
EASTON, EXCEPT PARCELS OF LAND USED EX-
CLUSIVELY FOR THE TILLING OF THE SOIL, AND
THE SOWING AND HARVESTING OF CROPS, SHALL
BE SUBJECT TO TAXATION FOR LOCAL TOWN
PURPOSES BEGINNING WITH THE TOWN LEVY
TO BE MADE FOR THE YEAR 1952. THE MAYOR
AND COUNCIL OF EASTON SHALL HAVE FULL
POWER TO ASSESS, LEVY AND COLLECT WITHIN
THE TERRITORY HEREBY ANNEXED ANY AND
ALL TAXES WHATSOEVER WHICH IT HAS OR
SHALL BE AUTHORIZED TO ASSESS, LEVY OR COL-
LECT WITHIN THE TAXABLE LIMITS OF THE
TOWN OF EASTON AS IT HERETOFORE EXISTED.
THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF EASTON SHALL
EXTEND TO THE PROPERTY ANNEXED BY THIS
ACT MUNICIPAL FACILITIES AND UTILITIES AS
PROMPTLY AS POSSIBLE AND FEASIBLE FROM
THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF SAID ACT.
