AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 44 (a) of Article 99 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Birds, Game and
Inland Water Fish, " sub-title "Water Fowl and Migra-
tory Birds, "SAID SUB-SECTION HAVING BEEN
AMENDED BY CHAPTER 523 OF THE ACTS OF
1949, modifying the provisions relating to certain blinds
in certain waters of Kent County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 44 (a) of Article 99 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Birds, game and
Inland Water Fish, " sub-title "Water Fowl and Migra-
tory Birds, " be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
44. (Blinds in Certain Waters Prohibited. ) (a) No
booby, brush, or stake blind shall be licensed or erected
in the waters of Chester River and its tributaries within
the jurisdiction of Kent County except in those waters
lying between Durding's Creek and Deep Point, or be-
tween [Wickes Beach Point on Wicliffe Farm] the prop-
erty line of Wickliffe Farm and Cedar Point Farm near
the point which is known as Pine Tree Cove and Grave-
yard Point on Spencer Hall Farm on Eastern Neck Island
and no booby, brush, or stake blind shall be licensed or
erected in the waters of the Chesapeake Bay within the
jurisdiction of Kent County between the north end of Wil-
son's Point on Trumpetington Farm and the mouth of the
Chester River., and no booby or stake blind shall be licensed
or erected in any creek which is a tributary of the Pa-
tuxent River south of a line drawn from Truman's Point
in Prince George's County due east to a point on the shore
of Calvert County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.
