SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.

CHAPTER 166

(Senate Bill 102)

AN ACT to authorize the Trustees of the Poor and the
County Commissioners of Kent County to sell at public
or private sale the County Almshouse Farm and Prop-
erty of said County. AND CREATING A BUILDING
COMMISSION TO EXPEND THE PROCEEDS OF
SAID SALE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A KENT
COUNTY HEALTH CENTER.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Trustees of the Poor and the County Commis-
sioners of Kent County be and they are hereby authorized
and empowered to sell the County Almshouse Farm and
Property and to convey by deed said Farm and Property
so sold. The proceeds from said sale shall be paid over to

the County Treasurer of Kent County as a part of the
general funds of the County.

THE COUNTY TREASURER OF KENT COUNTY AND
SHALL BE USED FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
KENT COUNTY HEALTH CENTER AT CHESTER-
TOWN.

THERE IS HEREBY CREATED A BUILDING COM-
MISSION TO BE COMPOSED OF:
