AN ACT to add 17 new sections to Article 14 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Howard County, " sub-title "Trailer Camps, " said new
sections to be known as Sections 299 to 315 inclusive,
and to follow immediately after Section 298 of said
Article and sub-title, to provide for the regulation of
trailer coaches and trailer coach parks in Howard Coun-
ty, Maryland, and to make violations of said regulations
thereof misdemeanors, and to provide penalties there-
for.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That 17 new sections be, and they are hereby added to
Article 14 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Howard County, " sub-title "Trailer
Camps, " said new sections to be known as Sections 299
to 315, inclusive, and to follow immediately after Section
298 of said Article and sub-title, all to read as follows:
299. (License Fees. ) The annual license fee for each
trailer coach park shall be $25. 00 for each block of 10
trailer coach spaces or fraction thereof, provided that the
maximum license fee for one trailer coach park shall not
be more than $250. 00.
In addition to the annual license fee there shall be a
quarterly tax of $12. 00 for each trailer coach occupying
space therein—this tax shall be credited to the General
Fund, Howard County, Maryland, and the return shall be
filed quarterly. The fee for the transfer of a license as pro-
vided in this Act shall be $5. 00.
300. (Application for License). Applications for a trail-
er coach park license shall be filed with and issued by the
Board of Health. Applications shall be in writing signed
by the applicant and shall contain the following:
(a) The name and address of the applicant.
(b) The location and legal description of the trailer
coach park.
