(House Bill 215)

AN ACT to repeal Section 1197 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Montgomery County (1947 Edition), being Section
104-11 of the Montgomery County Code (1950 Edition), be-
ing also Section 1305 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (1943 Edition), being also Articles
16 and 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
titles "Montgomery County", and "Prince George's County",
sub-title "Takoma Park", relating to tax sales.

WHEREAS, adequate provision for the sale of property in the
City of Takoma Park upon which taxes are in arrears is found
in Sections 71A through 90W of Article 81 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement); now therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 1197 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Montgomery County (1947 Edition), being Section 104-11 of
the Montgomery County Code (1950 Edition), being also Sec-
tion 1305 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's
County (1943 Edition), being also Articles 16 and 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, titles "Montgomery
County", and "Prince George's County", sub-title "Takoma
Park", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.
