banks, insurance companies, safe deposit and trust companies,
and the gross receipts of a person, association or corporation
conducting race meetings; provided, however, that Baltimore
County in taxing the receipts) from motor vehicle operations,
may only tax receipts from operations of motor vehicles having
a permit or permits from the Public Service Commission of
Maryland authorizing both the taking on and discharging of
passengers at more than one point within Baltimore County
and/or the transportation of passengers between two or more
points within said county.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That nothing in this Act
shall be construed to affect or prevent in any manner the col-
lection of taxes imposed on alcoholic beverages if said taxes
were or are lawfully due and payable under the provisions of
said Chapter 765 of the Acts of 1949.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

CHAPTER 108
(House Bill 155)

AN ACT to add a new sub-section to Section 104 of Article 99
of the Annotated Code (1947 Supplement), title "Birds,
Game and Inland Water Fish", said new sub-section to be
known as sub-section (h) and to follow immediately after
sub-section (g) of said Section, providing that certain con-
valescent patients from Veterans' Hospitals may fish with-
out license.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new sub-section be and it is hereby added to Sec-
tion 104 of Article 99 of the Annotated Code (1947 Supple-
ment), title "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish", said new
sub-section to be known as sub-section (h) to follow immedi-
ately after sub-section (g) of said Section and to read as
follows:
