on a plat made by Ben Dyer, Registered Professional Engineer,
dated December 30, 1946, and recorded among the land records
of Montgomery County, in plat book 30, plat No. 1884, filed
February 18, 1947.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That. this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

CHAPTER 102
(House Bill 120)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendment, Section 97,
sub-section (1) of Article 17 of the Code of Public Laws
of Maryland, title, "Prince George's County", sub-title
"Bowie", providing for the amount of taxes to be levied for
any one year upon the assessable property within said Cor-
poration.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That Section 97, Sub-section (1) of Article 17 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland title, "Prince George's
County", sub-title "Bowie", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendment to read as follows:

97-(1) The said Commissioners are authorized and empow-
ered to levy annually such taxes upon the assessable property
within said corporation as may seem to them necessary, pro-
vided, that the amount of taxes levied for any one year shall
not exceed [thirty] sixty cents on the One Hundred Dollars,
which taxes shall be collected by the town treasurer; the levy
shall be made on or before the first day of June each year, and
all taxes so levied shall be a lien on any and all property of the
person against whom they may be levied. All taxes are due
and payable the first day of July in each and every year, and
if not paid on or before the first day of September shall bear
interest at the rate of one per centum per month until paid,
and if not paid on or before the first day of January next
