AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
4, 5(b), 12, 15, 17 and 18(A) of Article 78B of the Anno-
tated 4, 5(b), 15, 16, 17, 17A AND 18 (A) OF ARTICLE
78B OF THE ANNOTATED Code of Maryland (1947 Sup-
plement), title "Racing Commission", as SAID SECTION
17A WAS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 44 OF THE ACTS
OF 1950 AS said Section 16 WAS AMENDED BY CHAP-
TER 744 OF THE ACTS OF 1949 AND SAID SECTION
18 (A) was amended by Chapter 246 of the Acts of 1949,
relating to the expenses of the Maryland Racing Commis-
sion, the employment of stewards at harness or trotting
tracks, the designation of persons to make payments into

the Racing Fund, disposition of the Racing Fund and

future collection of the Racing Fund, designation of per-
sons authorized to receive licenses for one half mile
tracks, persons entitled to receive licenses for trotting
tracks, the amounts which may be retained by trotting
tracks and the amounts which must be paid by trotting
HARNESS OR TROTTING TRACKS, DESIGNATION OF
PERSONS AUTHORIZED TO RECEIVE LICENSES
FOR HALF MILE TRACKS, AUTHORIZING HALF
MILE TRACKS TO TRANSFER A RACE MEET OR
MEETINGS TO ANOTHER HALF MILE TRACK,
DESIGNATION OF PERSONS ENTITLED TO RECEIVE
LICENSES FOR TROTTING TRACKS, THE AMOUNTS
WHICH MAY BE RETAINED BY HALF MILE AND
TROTTING TRACKS AND THE AMOUNTS WHICH
MUST BE PAID BY HALF MILE AND TROTTING
tracks to the Racing Commission and disposition of the
amounts which must be paid by trotting tracks to the Rac-
ing Commission AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER
OF HARNESS OR TROTTING RACE MEETS TO OTHER
TRACKS, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 4, 5(b), 12, 15, 17 and 18(A) of Article
