August 9, 1950.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
99 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Edition), title
"Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish, " sub-title "Regulations
for Taking of Game and Fresh Water Game Fish in Non-Tidal
Waters, " said new section to be known as Section 110A and
to follow immediately after Section 110 of said Article, and
to read as follows:
110A. The State of Maryland hereby assents to the provi-
sions of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to provide that
the United States shall aid the States in fish restoration and
management projects, and for other purposes, " approved
August 9, 1950, (Public Law 681, Eighty-first Congress), and
the Game and Inland Fish Commission is hereby authorized,
empowered, and directed to perform such acts as may be neces-
sary to the conduct and establishment of cooperative fish
restoration projects, as defined in said Act of Congress, in com-
pliance with said act and rules and regulations promulgated
by the Secretary of the Interior thereunder; and no funds
accruing to the State Game Protection Fund of the State of
Maryland from license fees paid by fishermen shall be diverted
for any other purpose than the administration of the Game
and Inland Fish Commission and for the protection, propaga-
tion, preservation and investigation of fish and game.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.
