TION, BEING ARTICLE 4 OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC
LOCAL LAWS OF MARYLAND), TITLE "BALTIMORE
CITY, " SAID NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS SEC-
TION 532A, TO FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY AFTER SEC-
TION 532 THEREOF, TO BE UNDER THE SUB-TITLE
"POLICE COMMISSIONER, " AND UNDER THE SUB-
HEADING "ORGANIZATION OF FORCE, " AND TO READ
AS FOLLOWS:

532A. THE SAID POLICE COMMISSIONER IS AUTH-
ORIZED AND EMPOWERED IN HIS DISCRETION TO
REINSTATE AS A MEMBER OF THE POLICE DEPART-
MENT OF BALTIMORE CITY ANY PERSON WHO FOR
MERLY WAS A MEMBER OF SAID DEPARTMENT AND
WHO LEFT SUCH EMPLOYMENT FOR OTHER THAN
DISCIPLINARY REASONS. THIS SECTION SHALL AP-
PLY AND BE EFFECTIVE REGARDLESS OF THE TIME
AT WHICH SAID FORMER MEMBER LEFT HIS EM-
PLOYMENT AS A MEMBER OF THE POLICE DEPART-
MENT OF BALTIMORE CITY.

SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT THIS
ACT SHALL TAKE EFFECT JUNE 1, 1951.

CHAPTER 643

(House Bill 516)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
120 of Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Charles County, " sub-title "Indian
Head, " providing that the Town Commissioners of Indian
Head shall be elected for two year terms and shall be paid
compensation for their service as such and removing an
obsolete provision from said section.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That Section 120 of Article 9 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Charles
