AN ACT TO ADD A NEW SECTION TO THE CHARTER
AND PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF BALTIMORE CITY
(1949 EDITION, BEING ARTICLE 4 OF THE CODE OF
PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF MARYLAND), TITLE "BAL-
TIMORE CITY, " SAID NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN
AS SECTION 532A, TO FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY AFT-
ER SECTION 532 THEREOF, TO BE UNDER THE SUB-
TITLE "POLICE COMMISSIONER, " AND UNDER THE
SUB-HEADING "ORGANIZATION OF FORCE, " AUTH-
ORIZING AND EMPOWERING THE POLICE COMMIS-
SIONER OF BALTIMORE CITY TO REINSTATE ANY
FORMER MEMBER OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
OF BALTIMORE CITY WHO LEFT HIS EMPLOYMENT
AS SUCH FOR OTHER THAN DISCIPLINARY REA-
SONS REGARDLESS OF THE TIME OF LEAVING.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL AS-
SEMBLY OF MARYLAND, THAT A NEW SECTION BE
