(2) Said County Commissioners shall appoint a custodian
of voting machines and a deputy custodian whose duty it shall
be to prepare the machines for use. The custodian and deputy
custodian shall be appointed respectively from each of the two
leading political parties and their compensation shall be fixed
by the Board of Supervisors of Elections.
(3) Said Board of Supervisors of Elections shall have power
to rent or lease any of said voting machines to the City of
Cambridge or any other city or town in Dorchester County
upon such terms and conditions as they shall determine and
the City of Cambridge or any other city or town in said County
is hereby authorized and empowered to rent or lease said
voting machines and to use the same in municipal elections in
the discretion of the Commissioners of the City of Cambridge
or the officials of said other cities and towns.
(4) This sub-section is not intended to limit in any way the
powers conferred by sub-section (a).
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 183
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel County
(1947 Edition), being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title
"Budget", relating to the duty of the Anne Arundel County
Board of Education as to the preparation of the school bud-
get and as to the expenditure of funds for public education.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 183 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition), being Article 2 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Anne Arundel
