"Dredging in County Waters, " relating to the area within
which oysters may be dredged in Dorchester County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 7 (i) 2 of Article 72 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Oysters and Clams, "
sub-title "Dredging in County Waters, " be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,, to read as follows:
7 (i)
2. (Dorchester County Only. ) All that area bounded as
follows: beginning at Crab Point in Honga River, thence
proceeding in a straight line to the most [easterly] north
easterly point on Lower Hooper Island; thence clockwise
along the shore of Lower Hooper Island to the Dorchester
County line; thence southerly along the Dorchester County
line to its intersection with the Somerset County line;
thence northeasterly along the Dorchester County line to
[a point directly south of Frog Point on Clay Island; then
northerly to Frog Point; thence clockwise along shore to
the most southwesterly point on Clay Island; then west-
erly] Bloodsworth Island; thence north along the shore to
the most northerly point of Bloodsworth Island; thence in a
northeasterly direction to the most southern point of
Bishops Head; thence clockwise along the shore to Crab
Point, the point of beginning.
2. (DORCHESTER COUNTY ONLY. ) ALL THAT AREA
BOUNDED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT CRAB POINT
IN HONGA RIVER, THENCE PROCEEDING IN A
STRAIGHT LINE TO THE MOST EASTERLY POINT ON
LOWER HOOPER ISLAND TO THE DORCHESTER
COUNTY LINE, THENCE FOLLOWING THE SHORE
LINE TO RICHLAND POINT, THENCE IN A STRAIGHT
LINE SOUTHERLY TO OKAHANIKAN POINT, THENCE
FOLLOWING THE NORTH SHORE LINE OF BLOODS-
WORTH ISLAND TO TIGS POINT, THENCE IN A NORTH-
EASTERLY DIRECTION TO BISHOP HEAD POINT,
THENCE ALONG THE SHORE TO CRAB POINT, THE
PLACE OF BEGINNING.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.
