ALL THE ACREAGE NOW IN USE BY THE HIGH
SCHOOL STUDENTS OF CALVERT COUNTY SHALL
CONTINUE UNDER THEIR CUSTODY UNDER THE
PROVISION'S OF THIS BILL.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 302C of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1939 Edition and 1947 Supplement), title "Crimes
and Punishments, " sub-title "Gaming, " said section be-
ing enacted by Chapter 679 of the Acts of 1949, making
it lawful to hold or conduct carnivals, bazaars or raffles
by certain organizations, in Queen Anne's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 302C of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition and 1947 Supplement), title
"Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title "Gaming, " said sec-
tion being enacted by Chapter 679 of the Acts of 1949, be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
302C. Nothing in this sub-title shall be construed to
make it unlawful for any volunteer fire company or bona
fide fraternal, civic, war veterans', religious or charitable
organization or corporation in Caroline [County] and
Queen Anne's Counties to conduct or hold a carnival, ba-
zaar or raffle for the exclusive benefit of any such volun-
teer fire company or fraternal, civic, war veterans', re-
ligious or charitable organization or corporation, provided
that no individual or group of individuals shall benefit
financially from the holding of any such bazaar, carnival,
or raffle or shall receive or be paid any of the proceeds
from any such carnival, bazaar or raffle, for personal use
