freight charges thereon and plus ten percent (10%) TWEN-
TY PERCENT (20%) of such aggregate wholesale INVOICE
price and freight charges from time to time, and that one half
of said ten percent (10%) aggregate shall be paid by said
Liquor Control Board to the Mayor and Council of Salisbury
and the other one half thereof of to the County Commissioners
of Wicomico County. ANY LICENSEE HOLDING SUCH
A LICENSE SHALL BE ENTITLED TO SELL BEER,
WINE AND LIQUORS FOR CONSUMPTION ON THE
PREMISES BETWEEN THE HOURS OF TEN O'CLOCK
A. M. AND TWELVE O'CLOCK MIDNIGHT ON EVERY
DAY EXCEPT THAT NO SALES AS PROVIDED HEREIN
SHALL BE MADE BETWEEN TWELVE O'CLOCK MID-
NIGHT ON ANY SATURDAY AND TEN O'CLOCK A. M.
ON THE MONDAY FOLLOWING.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That no licenses shall be
issued pursuant to this Act until it shall have been submitted
to and approved by a majority of the voters of Wicomico
County voting thereon at a special election which shall be held
in said County on the date provided by law of FOR the
primary GENERAL PRIMARY election for the selection of
candidates for United States Senator and/or Member of Con-
gress in the year 1952, at which time this Act shall be voted
upon. There shall be printed on the ballots to be used at said
special election, the title A CONDENSED SUMMARY of this
Act and underneath said title, a square or box to the right
of and opposite WHICH THERE SHALL BE the words "For
the Referred Law" "FOR LIQUOR IN CLUBS" "FOR
MIXED DRINKS", and a corresponding square or box to the
right of and opposite WHICH THERE SHALL BE the words
"Against the Referred Law" "AGAINST LIQUOR IN
CLUBS" "AGAINST MIXED DRINKS", so that the voters
of Wicomico County shall be able to designate by a crossmark
in the proper square or box, his or her decision for or against
this Act. If a majority of the votes cast on said question
shall be "For the Referred Law" "FOR LIQUOR IN
CLUBS" "FOR MIXED DRINKS", then this Act shall be-
come effective immediately, but if the majority of the votes
cast thereon shall be "Against the Referred Law"
"AGAINST LIQUOR IN CLUBS" "AGAINST MIXED
DRINKS", then this Act shall be null and void and of no
further effect.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect, June 1, 1951.
