SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition and 1947
Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments", said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 302-7/8, to follow immediately
after Section 302-3/4, as said section was enacted by the Acts
of 1950, and being under the sub-title "Gaming", and to read
as follows:
302-7/8. Nothing in this sub-title shall be construed to make
it unlawful to conduct or operate a game of bingo in Wash-
ington County provided that the maximum price for any one
game shall be ten cents and provided further that no prize shall
be in cash nor shall a prize in merchandise of greater value
than Ten Dollars be offered or given in any one game. ANY
PERSON OR PERSONS WISHING TO CONDUCT OR
OPERATE GAMES OF BINGO SHALL SECURE A PER-
MIT THEREFOR FROM THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF WASHINGTON COUNTY; AND BEFORE ISSUING
SUCH PERMIT THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SHALL
ASCERTAIN THE PURPOSE OF THE SAID GAMES AND
THE USE OF THE RECEIPTS THEREOF.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

(House Bill 299)
AN ACT to authorize the issuance of bonds of the Washington
Suburban Sanitary District to enlarge, increase and aug-
ment the water supply AND MAJOR DISTRIBUTION
FACILITIES of said District, and to provide for the pay-
ment thereof.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission,
created by Chapter 122 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
