SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.

(Senate Bill 226)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
Sections 38A (i) and 38A(k a), 38A (K-A) AND 38A (L)
of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
Supplement), title "County Commissioners, " sub-title
"County Treasurer, " as amended by Chapter 548 of the
Acts of 1949, increasing the compensation of the County
Treasurer of Dorchester County. AND FREDERICK
COUNTIES.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub section 38A (i) and 38A(k a) SUB-SECTIONS
38A(I), 38A(K-A) AND 38A(L) of Article 25 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title
"County Commissioners, " sub-title "County Treasurer, " as
amended by Chapter 548 of the Acts of 1949, be and they
are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

38A.

(i). The County Treasurers of [Dorchester, ] Talbot
and Wicomico Counties shall each receive an annual salary
of $3, 000. 00.

(k-a). The County Treasurer of Cecil [County] and
Dorchester Counties shall receive an annual salary of
$4, 000. 00.

(L) THE COUNTY TREASURER OF FREDERICK
COUNTY SHALL RECEIVE AN ANNUAL SALARY OF
$6, 000. 00.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
