SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

CHAPTER 516
(House Bill 707)

AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition, being Article
2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Anne Arundel County", said new section to be known as
Section 600A, to follow immediately after Section 600
thereof and to be under the new sub-title "Vacant Lots, "
requiring the owner or owners of every lot or vacant plot
of ground located in an urban part of THE FIFTH DIS-
TRICT OF Anne Arundel County to keep the same free
from weeds, brush, trash and debris of all kinds and pre-
scribing a penalty for the violation of this requirement.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to the Code
of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition,
being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Anne Arundel County, ' said new section to be known
as Section 600A, to follow immediately after Section 600
thereof and to be under the new sub-title "Vacant Lots, " and
to read as follows:

Vacant Lots

600A. The owner or owners of every lot or vacant plot of
ground located in an urban part of Anne Arundel County shall
keep the same free from weeds, brush,
trash and debris of all
kinds. Any person or persons failing or neglecting to conform
to the provisions of this section shall "be guilty of a misde-
meanor, and upon conviction shall be fined a sum not to exceed
Ten Dollars for each such offense.
THIS SECTION SHALL
APPLY TO AND BE EFFECTIVE IN THE FIFTH DIS-
TRICT OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY ONLY.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.
