(1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County'', sub-title "County
Commissioners", as said section was amended by Chapter
263 of the Acts of 1947, providing compensation for members
of the Board of County Commissioners of St. Mary's County
for services rendered as Road Board, Zoning Board, Health
Board, Electrical Examining Board and Erosion Board.
WHEREAS, the County Commissioners of St. Mary's County
constitute the Road, Zoning, Health, Electrical Examining and
Erosion Boards and render considerable services in these var-
ious capacities; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 47 of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County",
sub-title "County Commissioners", as said section was amended
by Chapter 263 of the Acts of 1947, be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
47. (a) The County Commissioners of St. Mary's County
shall receive a salary of nine hundred dollars ($900) per year
each, including mileage.
(b) The County Commissioners of St. Mary's County shall
be allowed an additional compensation of five hundred dollars
($500) each for services rendered as members of the Road
Board, Zoning Board, Health Board, Electrical Examining
Board and Erosion Board.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.
