of; provided, however, that nothing herein contained shall
be taken as restricting any control which the State Board
of Health of Maryland, the Department of Geology, Mines
and Water Resources and the Water Pollution Control
Commission are empowered to exercise over or within any
Authority.
The foregoing sections of this sub-title shall be deemed
to provide an additional and alternative method for the
doing of the things authorized thereby, and shall be re-
garded as supplemental and additional to powers con-
ferred by other laws, and shall not be regarded as in dero-
gation of any powers now existing.
All laws or parts of laws inconsistent with the provi-
sions of this sub-title are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
410V. The provisions of this sub-title are severable,
and it is the intention to confer the whole or any part of
the powers herein provided for, and if any of the provi-
sions of this sub-title shall be held unconstitutional by any
court of competent jurisdiction, the decision of such court
shall not affect or impair any of the remaining provisions
of this sub-title. It is hereby declared to be the legislative
intent that this sub-title would have been adopted had
such unconstitutional provision not been included therein.
NOTHING, HEREIN, SHALL APPLY TO THE COUN-
TIES OF MONTGOMERY, PRINCE GEORGE'S AND
ANNE ARUNDEL.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.
