amount to be received by each County Commissioner of
Queen Anne's County for traveling and other expenses in
the performance of his duties.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That Section 184 of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's Coun-
ty", sub-title "County Commissioners", as said section was
amended by Chapter 279 of the Acts of 1947, be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

184. The County Commissioners for Queen Anne's County
shall meet as often as they may deem necessary; provided, that
they shall hold not less than one meeting in each week, and
each of said County Commissioners shall receive as compensa-
tion for his services a sum not exceeding five hundred dollars
per year. In addition, each Commissioner shall receive [five
hundred dollars ($500. 00)] one thousand dollars ($1, 000. 00)
each year for traveling and other expenses in the performance
of his duties.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

CHAPTER 454
(Senate Bill 168)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
553 of the Charter and Public Local Laws of Baltimore
City (1949 Ed. ), title "Miscellaneous Local Laws", sub-
title "Police Commissioner", heading "Miscellaneous", to
permit the destruction of the records of the Police Com-
missioner of Baltimore City under certain circumstances
and to eliminate the requirement that the full report of
proceedings which the Police Commissioner is to main-
tain shall be kept "by his secretary".

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 553 of the Charter and Public Local Laws of
