mediate preservation of the public health and safety and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of
the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
982B of the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery
County (1947 Edition, being Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery County", sub-
title "Rockville", said section being Section 113-11 in the
Code of Montgomery County (1950 Edition), said section
having been amended by Chapter 123 of the Acts of 1949,
extending the boundaries of the Town of Rockville in Mont-
gomery County and relating generally to the provisions of
law applicable in said new area.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 982B of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Montgomery County (1947 Edition, being Article 16 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "Rockville", said section being Section
113-11 in the Code of Montgomery County (1950 Edition), said
section having been amended by Chapter 123 of the Acts of
1949, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
982B. The boundaries of the Town of Rockville are hereby
extended so as to include the following area:
Beginning for the same at the intersection of the Rockville-
Great Falls Road with the center of the Seven Locks Road at
or near the Town of Rockville; thence crossing the William H.
Trail and the Montgomery County Poor Farm in a south-
easterly direction to a point in the center of Monroe Street
extended where the Montgomery County Poor Farm, the Mal-
