Mayor and Councilmen shall receive no salary, but the
Mayor shall receive the sum of One Hundred and Twenty-
five Dollars ($125) annually for traveling and other ex-
penses incident to attending meetings and transacting busi-
ness within Montgomery County on behalf of the Town,
and each Councilman shall receive the sum of Five Dol-
lars ($5) for such traveling and other expenses for each of
said meetings attended by him, provided, however, that no
Councilman shall receive more than One Hundred and
Twenty-five Dollars ($125) for such expenses annually.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.

(Senate Bill 87)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
645 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery
County (1947 Edition), (Being Section 110-16 of the
1950 Montgomery County Code), being Article 16 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Montgomery County, " sub-title "Ken-
sington, " providing for the removal of trash and in-
creasing the amount of the special tax which may be
imposed to carry out the provisions of said section.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 645 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Montgomery County (1947 Edition), (Being Section 110-16
of the 1950 Montgomery County Code), being Article 16
of the. Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Montgomery County, " sub-title "Kensing-
ton, " be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
645. (110-16) They may adopt suitable measures for
the removal of sewage, [and] garbage and trash, and fix
the amount to be paid therefor, which shall be paid by a
