repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
143.
(j). (Kent County. ) In Kent County, in addition to
the other powers listed in this section, the Board shall have
power to appoint a manager of said dispensaries, who shall
hold office for a term of six (6) years, beginning June 1,
1947, and shall furnish to the said Liquor Control Board
a good and sufficient bond in a penalty amount to be fixed
by the said Liquor Control Board for the faithful perform-
ance of his duties as Manager. Said Manager shall receive
as compensation for his services an annual salary of not
less than Two Thousand Dollars ($2, 000. 00) nor more
than [Three Thousand Dollars ($3, 000. 00)] Four Thou-
sand Dollars ($4, 000. 00), and in addition the Liquor Con-
trol Board shall from time to time have authority to reim-
burse said Manager for expenses incurred in the perform-
ance of his duties. The Manager, with the consent and
approval of the Liquor Control Board, shall appoint such
other employees as may be necessary to conduct such
County Liquor Dispensaries or branch dispensaries, fix
their compensation at not less than $25. 00 nor more than
[$45. 00] $75. 00 per week and require such bonds for the
faithful performance of their duties as the said Board
may in each case determine.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.
