required to levy such amount which shall be placed in a special
fund for the members of the Police Department and shall not
be used for any other purpose.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

AN ACT TO REPEAL AND RE-ENACT, WITH AMEND-
MENTS, SECTION 3 OF ARTICLE 33 OF THE ANNO-
TATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1947 SUPPLEMENT),
TITLE "ELECTIONS, " SUB-TITLE "ELECTION OFFI-
CIALS, " AS SAID SECTION WAS AMENDED BY CHAP-
TER 60 OF THE ACTS OF 1951, AND to add a new section
to Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Sup-
plement), title "Elections, " sub-title "Registration, " said
new section to be known as Section 21A and to follow im-
mediately after Section 21 of said Article, relating to a new
general registration of the voters of Dorchester County,
AND INCREASING THE COMPENSATION OF THE
SUPERVISORS OF ELECTIONS IN DORCHESTER
COUNTY AND PROVIDING THAT THE REGISTRA-
TION BOOKS IN DORCHESTER COUNTY SHALL CON-
SIST OF CARDS OR LOOSE-LEAF PAGES BOUND IN
LOCKED BINDERS.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 33
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title
"Elections, " sub-title "Registration, " said new section to be
known as Section 21A, to follow immediately after Section 21
of said Article and TO REPEAL AND RE ENACT, WITH
AMENDMENTS, SECTION 3 OF SAID ARTICLE, SUB-
TITLE "ELECTION OFFICIALS, " AS SAID SECTION WAS
AMENDED BY CHAPTER 60 OF THE ACTS OF 1951, AND
ALL to read as follows:
