the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed upon a yea and nay vote, sup-
ported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

(Senate Bill 80)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 1-24, inclusive, of Article 18
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "Alms-
house, " said sections relating to the Trustees of the
Poor and the Almshouse in Queen Anne's County.

WHEREAS, the County Almshouse and Farm has been
sold, thereby making these sections unnecessary; now
therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 1-24, inclusive, of Article 18 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "Almshouse, " be and
they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.
