1036 LAWS OF MARYLAND [CH. 330

RETT, HOWARD, MONTGOMERY AND WASHING-
TON COUNTIES.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 12 of Article 62 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Marriages", as said sec-
tion was amended by Chapter 76 of the Acts of 1951, be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

12. When one or both parties are residents of the State
of Maryland, the Clerk of the Court shall receive two
dollars for every license issued as aforesaid and for the
performance of the other duties required by this Article;
where both parties are non-residents of the State of Mary-
land, the said Clerk shall receive three dollars for every
license so issued. In BALTIMORE, CAROLINE, Cecil
[County, he] and DORCHESTER, GARRETT, Howard,
MONTGOMERY AND WASHINGTON Counties, said
clerks
shall be paid an additional two dollars for every
license and shall [annually] remit monthly the proceeds
of said additional fee to the County Treasurer of their
respective counties
at the end of every [calendar year]
month for use as general funds of [the county] said county.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.

CHAPTER 330
(Senate Bill 386)

AN ACT to add a new section to the Charter of the City
of Cumberland (1950 Edition, being Article 1A of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "City of
Cumberland", sub-title "Streets", to follow immediately
after Section 127 and to be known as Section 127A and
to provide as to the reversion of title as to any streets
or alleys or parts thereof closed or vacated by the Mayor
and City Council of Cumberland under the procedure
outlined in said Section 127.
