the counties of the State of Maryland; and this remedy by
suit and execution may be applied to the collection of all
taxes already levied by said Mayor and Council of Snow
Hill as well as those to be levied after the passage hereof;
and in every such action, including such actions before
Justices of the Peace or trial magistrates an appearance
fee of five dollars to the plaintiff's attorney shall be taxed
as a part of the [plaintiff's] costs of said suit.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 308 of
Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(Flack's 1930 Edition), title "Worcester County, " sub-
title "Snow Hill, " be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted. That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public health and
safety, and having been passed by a yea and nay vote, sup-
ported by three-fifths (3/5) of all of the members elected to
each of the two Houses of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 10 of Article 75½ of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1939 Edition), title "Professional Engineers and
Land Surveyors", changing the time for the submission
of the report of the Board to make it conform to the
fiscal year of the State.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 10 of Article 75½ of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Professional Engineers
and Land Surveyors, " be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
