In addition of the State Appropriation of $8,698,011 from General Funds for
the fiscal year 1953, it is estimated that the University of Maryland will re-
ceive from student fees, income from the operations of auxiliary enterprises,
fees from patients at the University Hospital and Dental Clinic and other
miscellaneous sources, the sum of $9,371,432 to be expended under the direc-
tion of the Board of Regents in accordance with the detailed working budget
of the University of Maryland, to be submitted to the Board of Public Works
for its approval, which sum is hereby appropriated from the Special Funds of
the State. It is the intention that Special Funds in excess of the amount here-
by appropriated shall be made available to the University of Maryland by ap-
proved amendment.
