BALTIMORE CITY,— And may impound in case

of failure to pay.

He shall account quarterly to the

Treasurer of the Western Shore, and

pay over all moneys received therefor,

May appoint a deputy.

Treasurer shall pay him a salary of

$1500 per annum, out of the proceeds

arising under this act.

And invest the balance received there-

under, as a sinking fund to redeem the

debt incurred and interest thereon, in

pursuance of the 1st and 2d sections,

Any grazier, drover or other person

who shall sell or barter any beef, cattle

or hogs, brought to, for slaughter, with-

in the corporate limits of, or within five

miles thereof, which have not been raised

or grazed one year within said limits,

shall, on conviction, pay from one to ten

dollars on every head, &c.

One half of said fine to go to the in-
