RESOLUTIONS.
hereby directed to pay to the trustees of the Abingdon
Academy, in Harford county, or their order, the sum
of one hundred and fifty dollars, and the same amount
annually hereafter.

Resolution to pay for the newspapers furnished the
Legislature during the present session.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to George G.
Brewer, chief clerk of the House of Delegates, and
to Joseph H. Nicholson, chief clerk of the Senate, out
of any unappropriated money in the Treasury, the
amount of the several accounts that may, from time to
time, be presented to him by said clerks for newspa-
pers furnished the members of the Legislature during
the present session, and that he also pay the accounts
for postage upon letters forwarded and received by
said clerks relative to the duties of their respective
offices.

Resolution relative to Tobacco Warehouse number
four, in the city of Baltimore.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Inspector of the State Tobacco Warehouse number
four, in the city of Baltimore, be, and he hereby is
directed to reserve the garret floor of the said ware-
house for the purpose of shaking out stayed or other
condemned tobacco, or so much of the said garret as
may he necessary for the purpose aforesaid, and that
permission be given by the said Inspector to any per-
son engaged in the business of reconditioning such to-
bacco, to use the said garret, or so much thereof as
may be necessary therefor, by the said individual, so
appointed, furnishing his own screws, and paying to
the said Inspector of Tobacco of Warehouse num-
